Who we are
I was raised near Detroit in a car enthusiast family. Repairing, restoring, racing, everything automotive was our life. From a young age I was taught the importance of honesty, quality, and good work ethic, things I still value and apply to everything I do. Also instilled in me was a profound pride in and respect for our armed forces. Many of my family are veterans, so naturally I joined the Army after high school and served as a mechanic in the 4th infantry division, which included a tour in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
After my time in the Army, I traveled throughout the US living and working in 9 different states. In 2009 I found myself in Utah and fell in love with the stunning landscapes, the culture, and career opportunities. I also fell in love with my wife who I’ve been married to for 13 years. Not long after settling in Utah I attended Ogden-Weber Applied Technical College where I studied industrial automated maintenance and started my career in manufacturing as a maintenance technician. I continued that occupation for 10 years until I found a need in the non-profit sector serving our homeless population.
For the past 5 years I have been involved in maintaining a facility in Salt Lake City where those experiencing homelessness receive respite and end-of-life care. Throughout all this time I have always been able to share my abilities with friends, family, and neighbors in their home repair needs, and now I want to share them with you.
Along with the values listed above, I strive to be reliable, competent, and realistic. I want your experience with me to be exactly what I would want in a tradesman entering my home: honest practices, reliability, and quality work done at a realistic price.
